In 2015, ESMA proudly celebrates 25 years of service to the printing industry. The European association for printing manufacturers in screen and digital printing has grown into an organization representing industrial, functional and speciality print. During the FESPA show, ESMA hosts the “Lunch & Learn” sessions dedicated to the industrial applications of digital and screen printing. Throughout years of activity in the printing sector ESMA developed a “Knowledge Hub” concept which draws on the know-how and experience of its 65 European manufacturer members and Technology Partners. Many of them will present samples and demonstrations of their products and solutions on FESPA’s Industrial Print Showcase (hall 8, stand A68). Within the Industrial Print Showcase ESMA organizes a “dark area” exhibition where one can explore the recent developments of light emitting and glowing effects. The employment of print technology for producing textiles with electroluminescent and organic light-emitting diodes will be literally highlighted in light-emitting lampshades, wallpapers (POLEOT project), black light glowing posters (HdM Stuttgart), t-shirts (TO2C) and many more. Furthermore, “Lunch & Learn” sessions powered by ESMA will address the hot topics from the industrial printing sector. “It is an ideal opportunity to share our knowledge and experience in order to assist the visitors in making their technological and business decisions. It is even more enjoyable when it occurs through inspiring discussions with delegates and other exhibitors”, says Peter Buttiens, the CEO of ESMA. He will inaugurate the “Lunch & Learn” formula on Monday, the 18th May 2015, with a presentation on the trends in Industrial Printing and their applications. The Lunch & Learn sessions in the FESPA Education Hub (hall 8, stand B90) take place on 18th, 19th and 20th May 2015, always between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
