At the end of the FESPA 2015, Asphalt Art could definitely evaluate the FESPA as a big success. AthleticWalk is one of two innovations that Asphalt Art International (AAI) presented to their visitors at the FESPA. It’s the first product in the range of AAI that got a laminate for the surface. AthleticWalk is a vinyl film with a newly developed adhesive. You can hardly feel it with your fingers, however, once applied on the surface, the adhesive develops its adhesion and adheres firm and safe on the surface. The protection laminate has a R9 certificate and therefore the same coefficients of friction as the indoor sports floor. The whole sandwich is now not only repositionable but also reusable. After the campaign you can take away the film carefully so it doesn’t get damaged. Afterwards, you put it back on the backing. This process is several times possible. Therewith, AthleticWalk offers a solution for indoor sports. The adhesive on a printable vinyl with a R11 laminate is the new StarWalk. StarWalk allows not only a reposition on the surface, but also guarantees an absolutely residue-free removal. The first production is in progress and should be done by the end of June. The new material will be available in 1.372 m width with the appropriate laminate.
