Sihl: Glass Textile wallpaper HealthClean 295 matt 2525

Sihl introduced a new glass textile wallpaper Glass Textile design2wall HealthClean 295 matt 2525 that meets the highest requirements. The robustness, the high tear resistance and the possibility of cleaning with disinfectants render this product the best choice for public buildings. The requirements of resilient surfaces on wallcoverings are particularly high in public areas. Hospitals, care homes or doctors surgeries require walls that can be wiped down using disinfectant cleaners. In hotels a high robustness of surfaces is needed as the walls are subject to daily abuse from luggage, bags and other objects. In bars and restaurants wallpapers need to ensure that the spillage of coffee, sauces, drinks and food do not leave permanent marks – in the best case scenario they dry up and can be washed off. In schools, playschools the walls are consistently subject to felt tip pens, liquids, bags and other objects. Glass Textile design2wall HealthClean 295 matt 2525 was developed precisely to meet these demanding requirements on durability and cleaning resistance for exactly these application areas. The extremely sturdy glass textile made of extra fine glass yarn, offers a wide range of advantages from application time through to removal in comparison with standard paper-based wallpapers. Thanks to the absolute dimensional stability and the high tear resistance all problems commonly associated with wallpapering are practically eliminated. Regardless of whether wet or dry, the material does not show any stretching or shrinkage. And it guarantees that after drying on the wall no unsightly crevices are formed between the individual panels. Naturally the material has a C-s1-d0 flame retardant certification. Glass Textile design2wall HealthClean 295 matt 2525 can also be cleaned using detergents containing alcohol and disinfecting products. The best possible anchorage of the inks is achieved using dye sublimation. Together with a coating, specifically formulated to accept these inks, this product was developed keeping the focus on resilience to diverse influences, to enable the printing of an almost indestructible image. Neither scratching nor the impact of hard objects to the surface will destroy or damage the print: even sandpaper leaves only a slightly visible effect on the printed image.
