Sihl: More individualism with wallpaper printing

Unbeatable: the trend of custom-printed wallpapers continues to reach new heights in interior design. Striking graphical patterns, poster sized photorealistic images and peaceful stylish works of art are being more and more digitally printed on wallpapers from the SIHL DESIGN2WALL. Quality, functionality and high aesthetic value are at the forefront of Sihl products with the new embossed versions of the existing Sihl Non-woven design2wall Aqua 180 matt (2510). Sihl expands the previous feel and look through the three surface designs, which are more or less heavily textured, structured: Sihl Non-woven design2wall Aqua 180 Leather (2530) / Facets (2532) and Weave (2530). The “leather” variation with its traditional leather embossed structured, “Facets” with its original facets structure and the “Weave” with its very extraordinary weaved structure all offer very interesting and optically different variation to the existing collection of design2wall wallpapers. The new variations have a very high quality coating for wide color gamut and an excellent color rendering. The inks do not bleed, and an outstanding print image is created. Due to the flexibility of the coating no problems or damage occurs during printing or further processing. The wallpapers maintain their physical properties and their good wet strength after the embossing. Only the thickness of the wallpaper is different after embossing, although due to the high surface weight of the material and the thickness it most certainly reaches an excellent, level of opacity. Thus, enabling it to cover small unevenness on wall surfaces very well. The embossed variations can be easily hung, are easy to line up and reposition and when non-woven wallpaper paste is correctly used can be removed again without any problems. Due to the high dimensional stability of the PVC-free material wallpapering is facilitated enormously. In addition, all the products have a fire certification and in areas of high traffic (i.e. hotel corridors) extra surface protection in the form of a liquid lamination should be used.
